20 YEARS for 1989!!!!

I know it's way, way early, but this requires some advanced thinking. Alumni Day 2009 will be 20 years since the "Smooth Crew" graced the state fairgrounds and it would be great to have a spectacular showing. I've lost touch with yet a few more people in the last several years, but hopefully they will read this. Jo, Dan, Tom. Anyway, it would be great if we could get together maybe for dinner that evening. We never wanted to march in that parade anyway. Looking forward to hearing from everyone on the message board. We would all love to see a good turn out of the 89 alumni this next summer. So far we do not have a person who has volunteered to be a liaison for the 89 class. Would someone like to help organize and co-ordinate a get together. As a liaison for your year you can help everyone find each other and plan a reuion to remember. Please contact the admin to volunteer to be the contact person for your group. Just sign in to the "I want to Help" on the home page and let us know who you are and we will help you organize a reuion and get you some front page press advertising it. Twenty years is something worth celebrating.

Oh my goodness, has it been 20 years already? It sure does not seem like yesterday, but 20 years? I had forgotten all about the "Smooth" Crew, I guess it is dementia setting in. Hey everybody, good news. Heidi (Martin) Littler has accepted an invitation and volunteered to be the liaison for the 89 choir alumni. We of the alumni association will be assisting her in getting her feet wet at locating and contacting all you 89 alums. Please help make her job easier by contacting her and letting her know who you are and how to get in touch. The best way to do that is register on the e-alumni list here on this web site or go to the facebook page listed above and join in. Let's go ya'll lets have a wonderful reunion this year for your twentieth anniversary. Time is running short. August will be here before you know it.

We talked to Heidi today and she says she is making really great progress with finding and contacting 89 alumni. She says she is getting lots of help and everyone is excited about their 20 year reunion. If Heidi ( your liaison for 89 ) has not contacted you yet, please give her a shout. I am sure she would love to hear from you. Let's keep the ball rolling. August 8th is coming soon.

I am so excited to be reunited with my friends. 20 years went by way to fast. The choir was definantly a highlight and an honor to be a part of. I would like to hear from all of my friends.
