18 days ago we began a journey... Sunday was the final stop. We know that you have accomplished the three main goals of the choir: 1.) Health & Safety (drink H2O) 2.) A quality musical experience, and 3.) Made life-long friendships.
Now go out from this community and into your own and make a difference, always remembering “WE are family.”
It was AOSFYC Alumni Day today, with hundreds of choir alumns in attendance, as well as huge crowds of fair-goers due to the perfect weather. At ODNR, the audience was estimated near 1200! It was good to see friends from previous years, and also to see the “Long Line” of alumns from 1963-2008.

Today ended with the choir’s 69th performance, and with 53 songs in the repertoire. Opus Serenades were held after the Main St. Stage performance, with groups entertaining in the Bricker Building, at Smokey the Bear, and the Administration Building. First year choir members received their choir pin today (1st year seniors had dinner with Mr. Snyder).
Once again, we will be giving AOYC parents and friends a glimpse of each day here at the Ohio State Fair. As always, please realize that these updates are uploaded late at night or early morning. We hope you enjoy the blog and pictures!
